About Wildhorse Fashion
By Side Saddle Enthusiasts World Wide
Welcome to my web site. It is not very often that a person has the opportunity to combine 3 passions into one. I have been blessed to be able to combine my love of horses, living history/historical reenacting, and sewing into one. I found when I began riding side saddle there were very few affordable resources for clothing and hats- none for period outfits. So through research, trial and error, and a lot of elbow grease, I began making my own clothing and hats. People wanted to know how they could get a habit so I began making them for others. Then I began making and selling a gown here, another there and Wildhorse Fashion was born. I have made clothing for many wonderful people from all over the world - Canada, Ireland, England, France, Japan, Belgium, Australia, the Netherlands and Israel.
I take great pride in every piece I make or have ever made. Each one takes on a personality of it's own as it evolves. I have expanded my interests to include riding habits, hats, reticules (purses), capes, shawls, coats, accessories, carpet bags, haversacks and men's clothing, children's clothing and more. Although I specialize in period riding habits of the 1840's, 1860s, 1870s, and 1880s. I also make modern habits as well. You should have exactly what you are looking for whether it be a period correct 1860s style gown or the perfect outfit for that horse expo, demonstration or parade. I am not an official, fixed location, or mass production business-this is a personal hobby for me. I make gowns for friends- those I already know and those I have yet to meet. I make each piece myself with love and as much attention to detail as I possibly can. Give me a call or contact me by email. I would be happy to help you make your dreams come true.
