Lady’s Hats

Each hat is hand made. During the assembly process the hat begins to take on a personality of it's own and that is what guides me on how I decorate each one. I use lots of different fabrics in many different colors and styles. I would be happy to make a finished hat or a basic hat base for you to decorate as you see fit if you would prefer to exercise your own creativity. The hats of old did not fit on the head like a baseball hat or cowboy hat does today. It actually sits on the head.  Prices start at $45.00

HELPFUL HINTS:

1.  The hat cannot be washed. If it becomes soiled you can use a damp sponge or cloth to spot clean it.
2.  I recommend you store your hat on a hat stand or in a shoe box to ensure the hat is not crushed or the feathers broken.
3.  Depending on how you choose to wear your hat and how you fix your hair it can be difficult to keep the hat in the correct position.  You can fasten your hat on with bobby pins. I have found that if I sew a hair comb to the inside, front of the hat and then use a hat pin  it will be very secure.
4.  If your hat has tulle or ribbon tails that have become wrinkled they may be ironed with a cool iron.
